Microcurrent Technology

Microcurrent therapy is a non-invasive treatment option that uses low-level electrical currents to alleviate pain, inflammation, fascia knots, scar tissue, TMJ and wound healing. It has been used to treat various types of pain, including musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, and postoperative pain. Microcurrent therapy is based on a multi-prong approach and works by stimulating the body’s natural pain-relieving mechanisms such as increasing endorphin release, increasing blood flow, and stimulating C fibers.

C fibers are nerve fibers that transmit pain signals slowly, and it is believed that microcurrent therapy can help to stimulate these fibers, which in turn can activate the body’s natural pain relief mechanisms.
